The Private Student Housing Association (PSHA) is an independent, non-profit organisation established for stakeholders in the South African private student accommodation sector aimed at advocacy and lobbying.

AffordabLE ACCOMMODATION

The industry faces many challenges, especially with regards to the affordability and standards of accommodation. We strive to be the collective voice for meaningful change in an industry with complex stakeholder relations, including students, tertiary institutions, the Department of Higher Education, the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), municipalities, etc.

SUSTAINABILITY

Our objective is to promote a formalised and vibrant student accommodation sector that offers a sustainable balance between affordable, convenient, safe, well-located and good quality accommodation for students on the one hand; and healthy private sector investment opportunities on the other.
